Can I start an online business website while staying and working in Ireland?

I have a permit Irish employment so that 3 years functions for a particular employer only representative. Ireland. I can easily start my Web site of commerce? It is illegal? Can I have any other source of income as do some online business? Significo not as great company. Just as departure only.
